After the thriving launch of Audi A6 in India at the Aurangabad branch, the Audi officials are very crucial to launch its new model Audi A4 in the market from the very same plant at Aurangabad. According the company officials the five-valve engine is incapable to compete with the fuel stratified injection system. 2.0 TDI diesel engine is now equipped with 16 valves, there by making the car more compatible in accordance with the other cars. The earlier present 2.5 TDI engine car is now turned 3.0L which is capable of offering 204 PS or can say 150 KW. Its 5-speed manual transmission is changed to a 6-speed transmission.

The new Audi A4 has the subtle styling that whispers class and a build quality. The attention to detail inside is second to none, and the drive is certainly not going to disappoint. There is good reason the new Audi A4 is proving to be so popular.

The 150 cc segment motorcycle market has been captured by the Bajaj's Pulsar but Hero Honda is trying to get into the competition with the launching of its new bike Hunk in the market in the range of 150 cc. Buckypaper

Buckypaper is 10 times lighter but potentially 500 times stronger than steel when sheets of it are stacked and pressed together to form a composite. Unlike conventional composite materials, though, it conducts electricity like copper or silicon and disperses heat like steel or brass.

Buckypaper is made from tube-shaped carbon molecules, 50,000 times thinner than a human hair, that were first developed in the early 1990s. Buckypaper owes its name to Buckminsterfullerene, or Carbon 60 - a type of carbon molecule whose powerful atomic bonds make it twice as hard as a diamond.

Among the possible uses for buckypaper that are being researched at FAC2T:

• If exposed to an electric charge, buckypaper could be used to illuminate computer and television screens. It would be more energy-efficient, lighter, and would allow for a more uniform level of brightness than current cathode ray tube (CRT) and liquid crystal display (LCD) technology.

• As one of the most thermally conductive materials known, buckypaper lends itself to the development of heat sinks that would allow computers and other electronic equipment to disperse heat more efficiently than is currently possible. This, in turn, could lead to even greater advances in electronic miniaturization.

• Because it has an unusually high current-carrying capacity, a film made from buckypaper could be applied to the exteriors of airplanes. Lightning strikes then would flow around the plane and dissipate without causing damage.

• Films also could protect electronic circuits and devices within airplanes from electromagnetic interference, which can damage equipment and alter settings. Similarly, such films could allow military aircraft to shield their electromagnetic "signatures," which can be detected via radar.

So far, buckypaper can be made at only a fraction of its potential strength, in small quantities and at a high price.

Carbon nanotubes are already beginning to be used to strengthen tennis rackets and bicycles, but in small amounts. The epoxy resins used in those applications are 1 to 5 percent carbon nanotubes, which are added in the form of a fine powder. Buckypaper, which is a thin film rather than a powder, has a much higher nanotube content - about 50 percent

Mahindra Bolero

One glance at the Bolero’s bulbous exterior and the lack of curves makes its presence felt. Maybe a few years back this would have been known as an SUV but then progression of SUVs has moved so progressively in India that the lack of curves and boxy look makes the Bolero look different. The front bumpers do add a nice touch and makes a nice statement. The rugged out of town is the one that stands out. The only statement you make when you own one is that you make frequent trips out of town and you have a large family to move around.

The engine on offer is a 2.5l diesel and is much more refined than the previous offering. This does not take much from the power which is 64bhp at 3200rpm. It is a really good companion for traveling away from the tarmac and good low end torque to ride over gradients and basically anything different from the tarmac’s potholes. The suspension is on the stiff side which is very evident at slow speeds but then evens out at high or even moderate speeds. The steering is quite responsive taking into consideration the bulk it has to handle and the transmission is something we will try not to talk about. The heavy clutch and gearshifts add to the woes.

The seating positions and leg views are adequate to say the least. The mileage figures are the ones that really catch the eye and could be the USP for this brawler. You can expect close to 14kpl in the city and an astonishing 18kpl on the highway.
